"Let Us Run With Perseverance The Race Marked Out For Us"

Kathy's Race...a race to benefit the children of cancer patients, is in the forming stages and needs your help to get it off the ground in 2008. Kathy's race is the brainchild of Kathy Van Riper a longtime runner and lifetime Sonoma County resident. It is her desire to have a benefit roadrace and have it run in her hometown of Sonoma. Kathy has logged thousands of miles during her 20 years of running in the Sonoma valley. Her running continues but she has been running the race of her life over the past 5 years....a race against cancer.
	Kathy's dedication to fighting her cancer is matched only by her dedication towards the formation of a new nonprofit in Sonoma County. Kathy's Camp was formed in 2007 in an effort to provide support and encouragement to the children of cancer patients. We hope Kathy's Race can be a primary fundraiser for this much needed resource.
	We ask that you please join us in this cause by filling out an interest form on the "How I can Help" link. Help can come in the form of a willingness to help in the planning phase, help with a contact or maybe just help with a willingness to run in the event once it launches. Whatever the form, help is appreciated.
